MGNREGS Wage increases to Rs 146 from April 1



Baikunthpur, March 31, 2013: The wages of unskilled labourers under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme has been increased to Rs 146, official sources said today.

The wages of the unskilled labourers under the MGNREGS has been increased from Rs 132 to Rs 146, Zila Panchayat Chief Executive Officer of Korea Dr Basavaraju S said here.

The new wages would become effective from April 1, he said.
