Electronic manufacture cluster gets Central approval



Raipur, January 06, 2016: The Government of India has approved a proposal of Chhattisgarh to set up an electronic manufacture cluster at Naya Raipur.

It is estimated that Rs 2000 crore would be invested in the cluster to house 61 electronic industries, the Chhattisgarh government said today.

The electronic manufacturing cluster would generate an employment opportunity for about 4000 people, it said.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Communications and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad for granting approval to the proposal of the state government.
