Cong stolen, uses BJP manifesto: Brij Mohan

Brijmohan Agrawal

Raipur, December 17, 2009: The ruling BJP today accused Congress of having stolen its election manifesto and used that after the media questioned its originality.

"Congress released its manifesto yesterday, which is nothing but a copy of the BJP poll promises made two days back. It seems Congress has stolen the manifesto from the ruling party," commented senior Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal of BJP.

Talking to ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com, Agrawal, a very influential leader of the state, said the Congress manifesto can never be implemented in the state, even if they comes to power in the December 21 and 23 urban local body election.

BJP would be in power for another four years in the state, which means the Congress cannot change the existing rules in the state Assembly during that period to implement its poll promises, because of that people would also reject the main opposition in the poll, he said.

During the release of the Congress manifesto the party had failed to satisfactory the media yesterday how they had carried out many of the points which are already mentioned in the BJP poll promises.
