Direction to Suspend Pakhanjur Chief Municipal Officer
Kanker, February 23, 2011: Kanker District Collector Nirmal Kumar Xaxa today ordered suspension of Pakhanjur Chief Municipality Officer L M P Singh.
The order for suspension of the Pakhanjur CMO was issued following his lax attitude towards the census works, a government release said here today.
The District Collector has asked the CMO to hand over his charges to Deputy Tehsildar Vansingh Netam, it said.
The Collector ordered the suspension of Singh during a review meeting of the census works in the district, in the presence of the district officials, including Additional Collector Anil Tuteja.
