Raipur, April 05, 2011: In an attempt to check black marketing of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Chhattisgarh administration has ordered physical verification of all gas connections in the Raipur city.
The Raipur district administration has fixed a schedule for verification of LPG connection and that would be continued in the capital city area till April 24, an official release said here today.
The verification work would be carried out from 10.30 AM to 5.30 PM every day during which the consumers are asked to visit the verification centres for attestation of their LPG connection.
The administration had advised the consumers to come with a form, photocopy of their LPG subscription voucher, Gas connection card, two photographs, proof of identity and proof of residence.
In case any consumer has more than one connection, the administration would approve only one connection, the release said.
One can deposit photocopy of PAN card, driving licence, voter identity card, identity card issued by any government organisations or passport for proof of identity, where as for residential proof the administration has required photocopy of ration card, electricity bill, phone bill, receipt from Municipal corporation, rent agreement.
