Raipur, April 06, 2011: In an innovative plan, Chhattisgarh Government plans to recruit over 3000 forest guards in the state.
The Chhattisgarh government plans to recruit 3089 youths of Maoist violence hit areas under a special Forest Guard scheme, officials said today.
They would be provided a monthly honorarium of Rs 3000 from the Forest Department, they said adding the Forest Minister Vikram Usendi has approved the proposal.
The new scheme has been launched to provide employment opportunities among the youths from the Maoist violence hit area also for better forest management and protection, they said.
