Cong MLA Haridas Bharadwaj seriously injured in mishap
Mahasamund, April 16, 2011: Senior Congress legislature Haridas Bharadwaj was today seriously injured in a road accident in Saraipali area of Mahasamund district in Chhattisgarh.
Condition of Bharadwaj was serious and he has been rushed to Raipur for further treatment, Mahasamund District Superintendent of Police Dhruv Gupta told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
The accident took place when the Congress MLA was travelling in a motor cycle and collided with the door of a pickup van, which was coming from the opposite direction, police said.
Because of the accident Bharadwaj became unconscious and was immediately rushed to Raipur, where he was admitted to a private hospital.
