Rajeev Shrivastava new IG Naxal Operation
Raipur, May 02, 2011: Senior IPS officer Rajeev Shrivastava was today appointed as the Inspector General of Anti-naxal operation in Chhattisgarh.
Shrivastava is posted at the Police Headquarters as the IG Maoists Operation, a Chhattisgarh Home Department order said here today.
Shrivastava would be taking charges from IG Rajesh Mishra, it said.
Shrivastava had served in many districts of undivided Madhya Pradesh in various capacities and after formation of Chhattisgarh he had served the new state under various capacities in several Departments, including Sports and Culture.
