Raipur, November 04, 2011: Chhattisgarh Government has issued direction to all the district administrations to take action against the teachers, who are unauthorised absent from their duty to participate in agitation.
The Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department has issued directions to all the District Collectors and Chief Executive Officers of the Zilla Panchayats and Janpad Panchayats to keep a close watch on the teachers who are absent from duty.
Study in many schools are hampered as without any authorised leave teachers are seen remaining absent from duty to participate in agitation, state officials said adding the district administrations have been asked to regularly monitor the duty of such teaching staff of their areas.
The District officials have also been asked to send FAX and e-mail every day about the absent figure of the teachers, so that disciplinary action could be initiated against them, the officials said.
