Korba, December 18, 2011: Chhattisgarh Government today threatened to initiate strong action against the striking employees saying remain absent from service without prior approval would be treated as break in service.
Any mass leave or remain absent from duty for agitation would not be tolerated and any absent from duty without prior approval would be treated as break in service, a General Administration Department order warned the striking employees.
The clerks of the state government are on a strike from December 07, last, demanding financial and other benefits.
Reminding the employees about a decision of 2006, the state government said proceeding on mass leave without approval for agitation would be amounting to violation of the civil service code and attracts action.
