Raipur, May 16, 2012: Chhattisgarh government today decided to amend its rule to send only those applications to the high rise committee, which would have more than 30 metre height, officials said.
A meeting today decided to change the rule for high rise building, chaired by Housing and Environment Minister Rajesh Munat.
Only applications for above 30 metre height building would be considered by the high rise committee, the meeting decided.
Currently all applications for about 18 metre were sent to the high rise committee for approval, they said.
The Town and Country Planning rule would be amended soon to accommodate the new rule, the meeting decided.
