Raipur, September 06, 2012: In an ambitious plan for balanced development, Chhattisgarh Government has decided to draft individual master plan for all its 9734 gram panchayats of the state, officials said today.
As per the direction of the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, all the gram panchayats of Chhattisgarh would have a master plan for a proper development for the next two decades, officials said.
The master plan would initially be placed before the gram sabha (village meeting) and on unanimous approval that would be taken up for further action, they said.
The master plan would be prepared keeping in mind the necessity of schools. play ground, grazing field, roads, anganwadi centre, hospitals and similarly things for the next twenty years, the officials said.
Singh issued the direction during the review of the Revenue and Rehabilitation Department of the state on Tuesday last.
