Agril College in Naxal-hit Kanker dist

Jagdalpur, September 12, 2012: Chhattisgarh government today announced to open an agriculture college at the Maoists hit Kanker district.

A new Agriculture College would be opened at Kanker district, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh told a meeting of the Bastar Development Authority here.

He also suggested a by-pass road on Keshkal pass on National Highway No 30.

Looking into the condition of the current road it was essential to have a by-pass and for that the Central Government would be approached for funding, he added.
