Raipur, September 22, 2012: Japan, Korea, Israel are among the countries who have expressed their desire to participate in the investors meet, being organized by the Chhattisgarh Government during its foundation day this year, official sources said today.
Many countries have expressed their keen interest in participating the Global Investors' Meet to be held on first week of November this year, officials said.
Japan, Korea, Israel, Denmark, Belgium, Iceland, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Peru and Mexico have already given their consent to participate in the two-day event to be held in Naya Raipur, the administrative capital of Chhattisgarh, the officials said.
Chhattisgarh was expecting foreign investment in Agriculture and Food Processing, Health, Energy, Information Technology and Bio-technology, Engineering and automobile sector, pharmaceutical, urban infrastructure and handicrafts sectors, they said.
As a part of that a road show is being organized at Delhi on September 25, in which Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh would personally interact with the potential investors and others, the officials said.
