CM office gets ISO 9001 Certification



Raipur, November 02, 2012: In a significant development, the Chief Minister Office in Chhattisgarh was today awarded ISO 9001: 2008 Certification, when the state was celebrating week-long Rajyotshav to mark its inception on November 1, 2000.

"It is a matter of great pleasure that the Chief Minister's Office of Chhattisgarh has been successfully awarded with ISO 9001: 2008 certification after rigorous audits conducted by one of the largest global certification body Bureau Veritas Certification (India) Pvt. Ltd," an official release said here.

Earlier Gujarat CM office and Rashtrapati Bhavan office had been awarded ISO certification.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has congratulated and appreciated the efforts of his Principal Secretary N. Baijendra Kumar and the entire team members of the CM office for their hard work to make it possible for achieving the ISO Certification.

Explaining the significance of the ISO 9001:2008, it said, the certification was the quality benchmark that included system development and implementation to make CMO extremely performance oriented, efficient and effective so that it could deliver services of the highest quality to achieve maximum public satisfaction.
