Raipur, November 05, 2012: A prominent national organisation today honoured Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh with e-Ratna award for promoting information technology in governance.
For promoting computer education and information technology in government and administration, Singh was selected for the prestigious National E-Ratna award by the Computer Society of India, officials said.
The Chief Minister today received the award from the 45-years old Computer Society of India.
The Chief Minister was given away the award in a function here.
Last year Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was selected for this prestigious national award and this year Singh was named for the award.
