Bhilai, November 10, 2008: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today came down heavily on BJP government in Chhattisgarh and said it was a corrupt government.
Chhattisgarh has a corrupt government and it had done nothing for the commonmen, Gandhi told an election meeting here.
In the last five years the BJP government had not carried out any developmental works, he said.
Also when NDA was in power Chhattisgarh was getting Rs 800 crore. But UPA government had given it Rs 8000 crore every year, Gandhi said.
In National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme the Centre was giving Rs 900 but Rs 300 crore was missing from that, he said and appealed to the people to vote for Congress.
