Bilaspur, January 14, 2013: Chhattisgarh Government has started taking action against its employees, who are on agitation demanding a better pay package and other facilities.
As a part of that, eight employees were suspended today in Bilaspur district, official sources said.
District Collector Ram Singh has suspended all the eight employees of the district with immediate effect, the sources said.
Following the path of 1.8 lakh teachers, thousands of clerks of the state have been on strike for last couple of weeks demanding better pay package and other facilities, crippling all works in government officials throughout the state.
