Raipur, January 17, 2013: After a successful discussion with the state Government, the agitating government employees of Chhattisgarh tonight withdrew their agitation.
"After a successful discussion with Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh this night, the clerical staff of the state have declared ending of their indefinite strike," a state government release said here.
During the meeting, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Hemchand Yadav and Secretary General Administration Department Babu Lal Agrawal were also present.
The Chief Minister told the delegation of the agitating employees that the Government would give Rs 250 as Computer allowance and any clerk, who has the eligibility of a data entry operator and has a certificate from any recognized organization of having a speed of 8000 impression per hour in Hindi or English would get Rs 500 per month as Computer allowance.
An order to this effect would be released soon, the Government said.
