BJP forming govt again in Chhattisgarh: Rajnath

Raipur, November 12, 2008: BJP President Rajnath Singh today said a wave in favour of BJP was in full swing in Chhattisgarh and his party was again forming government in the state.

"It is BJP again," Singh told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com in an exclusive interview.

Both the organisational activities and also the good works of the state government would bring it in to power, he said and added this time party would get more than what it got in 2003 poll. In 2003 assembly election BJP got 50 seats.

When his attention was drawn to some of the top BJP leaders, whose services have not been utilized by the party, Rajnath said including Sarguja MP Nand Kumar Sai the help of all the top tribals and non tribal leaders have been used for campaigning.

During ticket distribution there might have been some discontentment, but all have come out from their houses and started campaigning for the party and I personally spoke to Nand Kumar Sai and some others and they are also working for the party in full swing, he said.

The image of Dr Raman Singh as a Chief Minister and also as an individual is excellent and that would also help the party in its campaign, the BJP President also told reporters here today.
