"Maoists blown up an ambulance in Kamanar area, in which six people are killed," senior police officer Gurjinder Pal Singh said.

Five people are also injured in that incident, Singh said.

The incident took place in Kamanar area of Bastar district, 345 kilometre south of Chhattisgarh Capital Raipur, he said.
