63 per cent votes in Bilaspur LS Seat

Bilaspur, April 24, 2014: Over 63 per cent votes were polled today in Bilaspur Lok Sabha seat of Chhattisgarh.

A total of 63.06 per cent votes were polled today in Bilaspur parliamentary seat, Election officials said.

A total of 26 candidates are in the fray.

Karuna Shukla, niece of former prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who had recently left BJP, is the Congress candidate from the seat.

BJP has fielded Lakhanlal Sahu and Anand Mishra from Aam Aadmi Party.

The constituency has 17,29,229 votes
