Raipur, May 13, 2014: After jaundice outbreak like epidemic at least 20 people have been killed and hundreds are affected in Chhattisgarh.
Till May 8, the death toll was 15 and today it has touched 20, reports from district hospitals and other official sources said.
Deaths have been reported from Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Dalli Rajhara, Rajnandgaon, Kurud, Mungeli, Kawardha Tilda, Balouda Bazar.
Besides 20 deaths, scores of people are admitted in various hospitals in serious condition, the reports said.
Despite health camps have been organized in several places, but that failed to arrest the death figure.
