Raipur, May 16, 2014: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today congratulated Narendra Modi for landslide victory of BJP in the general election for Lok Sabha.

BJP won ten out of eleven seats of Chhattisgarh, where as Durg seat went to Congress.
It was a great journey from Jan Sangh to BJP and the people of the country have voted out a corrupt government, said Singh.
The Chief Minister also expressed happiness that the Centre and the state would have the same party (BJP) government and that would speed up the pace of development of Chhattisgarh.
He also said the nation would progress with peace under the prime ministership of Narendra Modi.
BJP today alone won 282 seats but the NDA alliance would form the government at the Centre led by the saffron party.
