Raipur, July 23, 2014: Chhattisgarh Assembly today passed the first Supplementary budget of Raman Singh government on a voice vote.
The Supplementary budget of Rs 1156.75 crore was introduced yesterday by Dr Raman Singh, who also holds the Finance portfolio.
After a discussion, the supplementary budget was passed in the house by a voice vote.
During the discussion, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said his government would promote widow marriage.
For each widow marriage the state government would give a financial assistance of Rs 30,000, Singh said.
