Bilaspur, November 14, 2014: Chhattisgarh High Court today stays elections of urban local bodies in the state.
Due to irregularities in delimitation of wards, the High Court stays the election.
The bench of Justice T P Sharma and Justice Inder Singh Uboweja stayed the election.
State Election Commissioner Prafulla Chandra Dalei had on November 07 announced dates for Municipal elections in Chhattisgarh, which would be held on two rounds on December 8 and 11.
