4 senior Forest officials reportedly kidnapped by Maoists
Bijapur, May 09, 2015: Four senior forest department officials were today reportedly abducted by the Maoists in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh.
The news of abduction created sensation as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on tour of Dantewada district today amid elaborate security arrangement.
On information of kidnapping, IG Bastar SRP Kalluri also spoke to Bijapur police and inquired about the information.
Later in the day all the four forest officials reached the Bhopalpatnam guest house in safe condition.
However, police sources said what was the necessity of the forest officials to visit deep forest when a VVIP was on the area was being probed.
