Villagers killed Forest officer in Chhattisgarh
Ambikapur, June 12, 2015: Villagers attacked a forest official and killed him in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh, official said today.
Villagers of Ganeshpur have killed a forest Deputy Ranger for stopping them from tree felling from the forest, Surajpur SP Prakhar Pandey said.
Deputy Forest Ranger Motilal Kushwaha was killed in the attack and three Forest beat guards were injured in the incident, the SP said.
The incident took place in Ganeshpur village under Pratappur police station area.
