Raipur, July 20, 2015: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said the state government has sought permission from the Centre to prosecute two IAS officers on the NAN Scam.
"We have sought permission from the Centre to prosecute Dr Alok Shukla and Anil Kumar Tuteja," said Singh.
When Chhattisgarh Anti-Corruption Bureau raided the 28 premises of the State Civil Supply Corporation (Nagarik Apoorti Nigam) and recovered millions of rupees Dr Alok Shukla was the Principal Secretary Food and Anil Kumar Tuteja was the Managing Director of the NAN.
Chhattisgarh has written a letter to the Department of Personnel and Training for permission to prosecute both the IAS officials through the ACB, the Chief Minister said.
