Raipur, August 30, 2016: Principal Secretary Law of Chhattisgarh Government A K Samantaray has taken voluntary retirement from the service.
Samantaray is a member of the senior judicial services of Chhattisgarh.
Besides working in many districts of Chhattisgarh, Samantaray has also worked in Mantralaya for a longer period.
He has worked as Additional Secretary, Secretary and Principal Secretary in the Law department of the Chhattisgarh government and advised it on many crucial issues besides enacting many important laws for the welfare of the state.
Known as a man of few words, Samantaray has command over judicial procedure and constitution and is also a thorough gentleman and a very helpful person among his circle.
It is most likely that after his retirement Samantaray would join a quasi-judicial body of the state, for which notification would be issued soon, claimed sources.
