Raigarh DM Ranu Sahu writes letter to ED, assures full cooperation

Raipur, October 13, 2022: Raigarh District Collector Ranu Sahu has written a letter to the Enforcement Directorate and assured of full cooperation on its investigation.

On Tuesday when sleuths from the ED raided the residence of the Raigarh District Collector she was found absent.

"I was in Hyderabad to undergo an operation. Now I have retuned back to Raigarh," she said in a letter to the ED.

The District Administration has been functioning with full transparency and the ED will be provided full cooperation in its investigation, Sahu said.

Opposition BJP had made it an issue and questioned without any prior permission the District Collector was absent from duties.

However, in the letter the 2010 batch IAS clarified that she was on leave on October 10 and 11 for her medical treatment at Hyderabad and had returned back on October 12.
