One day Rajyotshav on Nov 1 in all districts
Raipur, October 28, 2022: State foundation day or Rajyotshav will be celebrated in all the district headquarters of Chhattisgarh for one day on November 1, official sources said today.
In a communication to the district collectors, the state government said on November 1state foundation day will be celebrated at the district level.
Local artists will only be invited to perform at the district level functions, the directive said.
The General Administration Department (GAD) has also asked the Collectors to organise exhibitions to inform the people about various developmental and welfare works and schemes of the state government.
On November 1, 2000 Chhattisgarh was carved out from Madhya Pradesh after this region was perennially neglected and a victim of unbalanced development.
