Dr Fariha Alam joins as District Collector Sarangarh
Sarangarh, November 03, 2022: Dr Fariha Alam has taken over charges as the district collector of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.
She took over charges from the outgoing DM D Rahul Venkat.
The 2016 batch IAS Dr Alam was previously posted as the Zilla Panchayat CEO of Janjgir-Champa.
Perhaps 2015 batch IAS D Rahul Venkat has the shortest tenure as the collector any districts as he had only as recently as on September 1, 2022 joined as the District Collector of Sarangarh.
