Raipur, November 09, 2022: Main opposition BJP today demanded an ordinance by the Chhattisgarh Congress government to give 32 per cent reservation to Tribals in job and education.
Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel also demanded a 10-day session, instead of a small 2 days session from December 1, to discuss on all the issues confronting the state.
"To restore the 32 per cent reservation to the tribals, the state government should immediately bring an ordinance," Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel said here.
He also urged the Congress government to have a 10-day session of Chhattisgarh Assembly to be able to discuss in details of all the issues.
But the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel wanted to run away from discussion on these issues, the BJP leader claimed.
The BJP has a clear opinion that the tribals had 32 per cent reservation and that should continue, Chandel said.
