Chhattisgarh 4th state to get National Quality Standard for its Sub Health Centres



Raipur, November 27, 2022: Chhattisgarh has becomes fourth state in the country to get National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) for its sub health Centre, official sources said today.

Union Health Ministry has issued the NQAS certificate to two of the sub health centres of Chhattisgarh, the officials said adding certificates are issued on the basis of health infrastructure and facilities being provided to the people among others.

Health and Wellness centre of Amleshwar of Durg district and Nisda of Raipur district have succeeded in qualifying to get the National Quality Assurance Standard certificate from the Government of India, they said.

A central team after evaluation in July last had given Amleswar 94 and Nisda 93 per cent marks to qualify for the NQAS, the sources said.

So far 57 government hospitals of the state have got the certificates.

Ten district hospitals, 7 Community Health Centres, 26 Primary Health Centres, 12 Urban Primary Health Centres and two Sub Health Centres have so far got the NQAS certificates.
