New Delhi, December 13, 2022: The GST council will be meeting virtually on December 17, next to discussion various issues, official sources said today.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman would chair the 48th meeting of the GST council, sources said.
The December 17 meeting is scheduled to be held through video conference, they added.
The meeting would likely to discuss the reports of a panel of state finance ministers on levy of GST on casinos, online gaming and horse racing.
The meeting would also pick up the issue of setting of GST Appellate Tribunal, they said.
A report of the officers' panel on discrimination of certain provisions of the GST law is also likely to be figured in the meeting.
