Raipur, December 20, 2022: In a significant development, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today directed the officials to paint all government buildings with paints made from cow dung.
The Chief Minister had expressed his displeasure over the use of chemical paints in the government buildings by the state PWD department and ordered for actions against the officials, who violated his previous instruction not to use chemical paints.
The Chief Minister Baghel has ordered all officials to use paints made from cow dung, official sources said.
The Chief Minister has also asked the Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain to issue instructions to all the departments, corporations and local bodies to use paints made from cow dung.
Stern actions should be taken against any officials violating his order, Baghel said.
