Raman declares Ambedkar Jayanti a holiday
Raipur, April 13, 2009: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today declared the Ambedkar Jayanti a government holiday tomorrow.
The General Administration Department today issued the notification for the holiday on the birth anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar on April 14.
This holiday was declared under the Negotiable Instrument Act and the copy of the notification had been sent to all departments, said a state government official.
