Commercial Tax Commissioner Ajay Singh today admitted that the businessman and tax payers do not prefer the e-challan as they are facing difficulties in using that.
Due to those problems the on line tax payment system had not attracted many a user, he said adding the Department had taken that seriously.
With much publicity the e-challan system was introduced in the state about two years back, which had the facilities to pay tax on line to the state from any where in the country but tax payers said it was not very user friendly.
Keeping that in mind a work shop had also been organised by the state Government with the help of State Bank of India to inform the people how to make use of the on-line system, Singh said.
