After Mid Day meal students in hospitals
Dhamtari, November 14, 2009: A large number of students were today taken to ill after having their mid day meal in a government girls school in Dhamtari district.
Twenty-two of the girl students were admitted to the district hospital today in serious condition after they had taken the mid-day meal at the Danitola Government Primary Girls School.
The school had about 125 students and most of them had taken the mid-day meal, but after the meal many had complaint of vomiting and other complaints, officials said.
Looking into their conditions, the pupils were rushed to the District Hospital and 22 of them are undergoing treatment
District Collector RPS Tyagi and other prominent people of the district had visited the students at the hospital.
