Kiranmayee meets Guv, CM
Raipur, January 6, 2010: Raipur Mayor and Congress leader Kiranmayee Nayak for the first time today met the Chhattisgarh Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and discussed with them on various issues.
On elected to the office of the first citizen of the Capital City after the December 23 election, it was her first meetings with the Constitutional head and the Governance head of the state.
The Chief Minister congratulated Nayak on elected as the Mayor on a direct election and she discussed various issues relating to the development of the Raipur Municipal area.
Governor Narasimhan had also advised the Mayor about various plans she should take up for the betterment of the citizen of the capital city.
Talking to media, Nayak expressed her satisfaction over the discussions had with both the top personalities of the state.
