Korba, January 9, 2010: Chhattisgarh Government today admitted having shortage of doctors in the state and said more doctors would soon be recruited to overcome the situation.
Health Minister Amar Agrawal told reporters here that the government had taken several steps in fulfilling the vacancies in various government hospitals in the state.
However, that was insufficient and soon the government would recruit more doctors from both from Allopath and Ayurved streams, the Health Minister said.
He also said the Government would not hesitate to go for probe if any irregularities in Health Department are reported.
