Govt not serious towards Address by Governor: Cong
Raipur, January 13, 2010: Main Opposition Congress today accused the Ruling BJP of not having respect for the Governor and staged a walkout from the state assembly.
At the time of discussion on the Thanks to the Governor for his address to the House, Congress today raised the issue of absent of many of the Ministers when the house took up the matter.
Former Deputy Speaker Dharamjeet Singh strongly opposed the absent of many ministers during the discussion and subsequently members from his Congress staged a walkout.
The house had also witnessed occasions in which the officers gallery was empty, when the House was in session.
