Raipur, January 15, 2010: Chhattisgarh Speaker Dharam Lal Kaushik today adjourned the state Assembly for about a month after a brief session.
The House was adjourned till February 15, the Speaker told the state Assembly today.
This session has been divided into three parts and ends on March 26. The initial brief session of five days was started on January 11 with the address by Governor ESL Narasimhan and ended today.
There would not have any sitting between January 16 and February 14.
The second part of the sittings would be on February 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26.
There would not again be sittings from February 27 to March 7.
However, the last part of the session would be from March 8 and also on 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25 and 26.
Instead of separate Winter and Budget sessions, the Assembly authorities had decided to club together both of them and the current session would have 29 days sittings, assembly sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
