No fees for naxal victims in professional exams

Raipur, March 02, 2010: The victims of the naxal violence have been exempted from any fees for appearing for any entrance examination for the professional courses of the state.

When naxal victims would be exempted from fees the SC and ST applicants would have to pay Rs 450, about Rs 200 less for applying for the courses for professional examination.

It was also decided by the Professional Examination Council to have a single form for the examination for PMT, PET, PAT, PPHT, Pre-MCA, Pre-B Ed and Pre-D Ed, officials said.

The form would now cost Rs 650, they added.
