3 Children drown in Chhattisgarh
Korba, May 12, 2010: Three children of various age groups were drowned in a pond in Korea district of Chhattisgarh, local Administration said today.
Among the killed children are two girls and a boy and all belonged to Sonwani family, Korea District Superintendent of Police Ravindra Bhedia told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
The incident took place in Tengni village under Kotwali Police Station of Korea district, the SP said.
Children of Tribhuban Sonwani Manish (10 years) and Chhoti (5 years) and Neera (aged 8) the child of Triveni Sonwani had gone for bath yesterday and trapped inside the pond and died, he said.
