Raipur, May 14, 2010: The current spell of heat wave condition would continue for some more days, the Weather Department said today.
Heat wave condition was prevailing in many parts of Chhattisgarh and the weather remained dry during that period, Meteorological Department said today.
Heat wave condition may continue over the region during next 24 hours, the officials said.
The temperature of Raipur would touch 46 degree Celsius, the officials said adding Raipur had recorded highest temperature of 45 degree, which was 4.2 degree above normal and the lowest was 30.1, which was also above 3.4 degree above normal.
The mercury in Bilaspur (Pendra Road) touched 42.7 degree and the lowest temperature was 24.3 degree.
Jagdalpur was hot with 40 degree temperature and the lowest was 27.1 degree.
