Rajnandgaon, July 18, 2010: Maoists have put up their posters and banners in a railway station located on the main Mumbai Howrah line in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.
Maoists have put up banners and posters late last night at Paniyajob Railway Station of Rajnandgaon District appealing people to observe martyr week, police said today.
Paniyajob is located about 8 km from the Dongargarh Railway Station and close to Maharashtra border.
Police also said besides Paniyajob Railway station, the Maoists had also put up posters and banners in Dongargarh road.
After the West Bengal incident, in which about 150 passengers were killed after Maoists damaged the track causing derailment of an express train, RPF were engaged in intense patrolling on the track of the Rajnandgaon area, officers of Railway Police said here.
