Raipur, July 24, 2010: Chhattisgarh Government today suspended the Director Medical Education Dr S L Adile, who has been accused of using forged documents for the admission of his daughter in the Jagdalpur Medical College.
Health Secretary R S Vishwakarma told Chhattisgarh TopNews.Com that the controversial DME has been suspended from services today.
Dean of the Raipur Medical College Hospital Dr Subir Mukharjee has been given the additional responsibility of DME, Vishwakarma said.
Meanwhile, Dr Adile has been attached to the Auysh University.
Congress had in writing lodged complaint with the state government against Dr Adile, accusing him of forging the documents to get his daughter and another girl admitted in the Jagdalpur Medical College, when the Director Medical Education has to ensure maintain of a fair and transparent procedure in admission in medical colleges in the state.
