Kaushik to hoist tricolour at Bilaspur, Chandel at Sarguja

Raipur, August 13, 2010: Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dharam Lal Kaushik would hoist the National flag at Bilaspur where as newly elected Deputy Speaker Narayan Chandel would unfurl the tri-colour at Sarguja.

As per the new decision of the government, Chandel would be receiving salute of a ceremonial parade at Ambikapur, the district headquarters in place of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Ram Vichar Netam.

Netam was scheduled to hoist the flag at Ambikapur, but after his mother died two days back, it was decided to have Chandel as the Chief Guest in that function, officials said.

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh would be hoisting the national flag at the historic Police Parade Ground of Raipur.
